The all new Maxus MIFA 7: A family friendly electric minivan
Kontich, 3 June 2024. Maxus, distributed by Astara Western Europe in Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, today announced the upcoming arrival of its all-new 7-seater 100% electric MPV, the Maxus MIFA 7. With generous interior space, advanced technology features and an impressive range, the MIFA 7 is designed to meet the needs of modern families looking to make the switch to electric driving.
The MIFA 7 is the smaller (-360 mm) version of the MIFA 9 and has an exterior length of 4907mm, width of 1885mm and height of 1756mm, with a wheelbase of 2975mm. This provides ample interior space for up to 7 adults across three rows of seats in a 2-2-3 configuration. For maximum versatility, the MIFA 7 offers a sliding side door for easy entry and exit, especially in tight parking spaces. The third-row seats fold flat to open up 760 liters of trunk space. Even with all seats in use the MIFA 7 still offers a trunk volume for up to 6 cabin trolleys.
The MIFA 7 is available with a choice of two battery packs - 77 kWh and 90 kWh. The larger 90 kWh pack provides an estimated range of up to 480 km (WLTP), while the 77 kWh pack offers up to 410 km of range. With fast DC charging, the MIFA 7 can charge from 5 to 80 percent in just 40 minutes.
Powered by an 180 kW electric motor producing 350 Nm of instant torque, the MIFA 7 delivers a smooth and silent driving experience with strong acceleration. The MIFA 7 offers a top speed of 180 km/h. The battery and electric motor are covered by an 8-year, 200.000 km warranty for customer assurance.
The MIFA 7 delivers an engaging driving experience with a dual 12.3-inch display for the instrument cluster and central touchscreen, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The MIFA 7’s advanced driver assistance systems provide an extra layer of safety. Standard features include emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
